Viewer: Courtney Brown, Session #1

Tasker: John D. Berryman, M.D.

Data: Type 3 (viewer blind and solo)

Target Specific:

Essential Cue:
The assassination of Abraham Lincoln/event

Numbered Aspects:
1. The assassination of Abraham Lincoln/Ford's Theater, Washington, D.C./event (April 14, 1865 circa 10:15 p.m. EST)
2. The audience within Ford's Theater reacting to the shooting of Abraham Lincoln/Ford's Theater, Washington, D.C./event (April 14, 1865 circa 10:15 p.m. EST)
3. John Wilkes Booth/arrival at Mary Surratt's Tavern/Surrattsville, Maryland/event (April 14, 1865, circa 11:59 p.m. EST)

Comments: This is the first of two sessions conducted by this viewer for this target. The session is very accurate with regard to location and environment. Descriptions of Washington, D.C. are very clear. Descriptions of various landmarks (such as the Washington Monument) in Washington, D.C. are also clear. Descriptions and sketches of what appear to be the Ford Theater are quite good, especially with respect to the long vertical lines on the facade and the existence of many short vertical and angular elements at the top of the structure. Note that the bottom of the structure is white, although there may also be cross-perceptions with the idea of the White House (a closely related structure) here as well. The session is also very accurate with regard to perceptions of the nature of the primary subject (a U.S. president). The viewer does not perceive the actual attack on President Lincoln, although the viewer does perceive a mental despondency on the part of the President at the time of the assassination event.
