The Farsight Institute's Viewer Laboratory
Hi Researchers/Viewers! Glad to have you in the lab. Here
are the rules for the lab.
1. Only current Farsight researchers/viewers are allowed in
this area. Do not give out your password to anyone. Others can
get a password only from Courtney or Matthew.
2. As Farsight researchers, we are all expected to act in
a manner comparable with that of other professional researchers
in any respected institute, college, or university research setting.
That is, do not discuss or publish our experiments or results
... or even general information regarding what we are doing ...
with anyone anywhere, publicly or privately, except with those
who are currently involved with our research program.
As is normal for any research institute, our research is confidential
until we finish our work, write it up, and publish our results.
Our private bulletin board (below) is for all of us to communicate
among ourselves.
3. All viewers are expected to view at least twice each week.
If you view for another group as well, at least one of your weekly
viewings should be for us. Viewing twice a week is essential
to maintain proper viewing development for a viewer. Also, when
you view for us, you need to view either immediately after meditating,
or you need to perform a complete CSP before viewing. We need
to control for our data collection method, and everyone MUST
do the exact same thing in order for our experiments to be worth
anything. Our prior experiments are very clear on this. Assuming
everything else is correctly done on our side, viewers who view
with a settled mind are much more consistent in their viewing
results than viewers who just "jump in."
4. Have fun! This is cool.
EVERYONE READ THIS: To participate in our
research programs, you MUST agree to allow The Farsight Institute
and its researchers to use your viewing, analyses, and any other
experiment related material and results in any way that assists
the Institute's research program. While most people want the
recognition, we can and will withhold your identity in any published
work if that is your stated desire. This agreement cannot be
withdrawn at a later date with regard to viewing/research that
has already been submitted to the Institute. Any participation
by anyone in our experiments or projects is done under this ironclad
agreement as stated in this paragraph, and any participation
in our experiments or projects represents an acceptance of this
agreement. Participate in our experiments only if you agree to
this fully.
