Tower of Babel

It's all about power and control.

The Tower of Babel is one of the greatest mysteries of all time! In school, people are taught that these mysteries are just stories from ancient texts. The old timers of the past just made the stuff up. And if you think that anything serious is involved with these ancient mysteries, the mainstream is geared up to call you a conspiracy theorist, deluded, a nut. The mainstream defines conspiracy theorist as anyone who seriously considers an idea that is not promoted by the self designated mainstream authorities, such as the government, the major media, or even the academic scientific establishment. But that official dismissal of all non-mainstream thinking is not about reality, and it is certainly not about science. It is all about control, the control of you, and that is politics, nothing more. Those who control you want to control your money, one way another. And those who control your money, have power, which is why we call them power brokers. The mainstream feels very touchy about giving the control of your money to anyone else because that would mean giving up power, and they do not want to do that. The result, of course, is that the mainstream is the one deluded into supporting so many ideas that simply do not make sense, such as why ancient people would make up stories and embed them in documents that they considered really serious.

Well, the Tower of Babel is one of those stories that the ancients thought was really serious, and that story can be found in the Bible. So what exactly is that story of the Tower of Babel? From the New International Version of the Bible, we can find it in Genesis, chapter 11, verses 1-9. It states, Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. They said to each other, Come, let s make bricks and bake them thoroughly. They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth. But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. The Lord said, If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other. So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

Well, that is quite a story. Now, certainly the ancients who are responsible for writing this story were trying to convey something serious. Should we make the assumption that those ancients were simply primitive people who thought up nutty stories out of whole cloth, to explain things that they simply did not understand, such as why people spoke different languages? Should we really just assume that without even trying to find out if something bigger and more serious was going on?

Well, we at Farsight have been exploring ancient mysteries for a very long time, and we have found out that in many situations, the mainstream blinders that tell you not to question conventional ideas are in fact seriously inhibiting you from understanding your own history, your own true and potentially inconvenient history, your history that would lead you to question all sorts of mainstream rubbish if you were allowed to question everything, like a normally curious individual. So we at Farsight decided to take a look at the Tower of Babel story to see if there was anything more serious behind the story, some event that the ancients could not understand, and so they created a story to explain it. We decided to take the ancients seriously rather than to dismiss them as primitive idiots without considering why they may have said what they said. And we found out a lot, and now you are going to find out what we found out. This is Farsight, and we go where no one has gone before. And as you will soon see, the Tower of Babel has a truth behind the story that is as serious as it is bone chilling.
