WHO WE ARE
AND WHAT WE DO

Many people ask us what we do, and what we do with what we do. These are good questions. The Farsight Institute has both an educational and research mission. We research the phenomenon of remote viewing. We are primarily interested in the process of remote viewing itself, such as how it works and how it can be made more reliable under a wider range of circumstances. There are some clearly defined theoretical and practical problem areas in this field that need serious investigation.

Here are some guidelines that briefly outline the scope of our activities:

  • We are a non-degree granting nonprofit research and educational institute.
  • One of our primary foci is to conduct research into the process of remote viewing using remote viewers who are trained in the use of evolving although largely standardized viewing methodologies, such as Scientific Remote Viewing® as well as some other established remote-viewing methodologies (e.g., CRV, etc.).
  • We cooperate with and support other nonprofit organizations that use and develop other remote-viewing methodologies.
  • External donations and grants support our research activities.
  • We are an interdisciplinary organization spanning many academic fields.
  • We support a variety of educational opportunities regarding nonphysical consciousness.
  • We support a broad range of process-oriented research into nonphysical consciousness, especially when this research has collateral benefits to the understanding of remote viewing.
